1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Chickpet Bangalore local multi-vendor e-commerce platform ("Chickpet", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease accessing or using our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, customers, vendors, and others who access or use the Chickpet marketplace.

2. Multi-Vendor Platform & Offline Connect

Chickpet operates as a local directory and connection platform showcasing premium handloom collections, bridal couture, sarees, and fine ornaments directly from physical stores in Chickpet, Bangalore.

⚠️ Please Note: Chickpet does NOT handle direct online payments, transaction processing, or product shipping. All products listed are exclusively available for in-store checkout or via direct connect (Phone/WhatsApp) negotiations between the buyer and the verified seller.

We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or availability of any items posted by individual vendors. Any transaction you enter into is strictly between you and the respective vendor.

3. Account Security & Verification

When you create an account, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials you use to access the platform.

To maintain the integrity of our Bangalore fashion heritage listings, all vendor and customer accounts are subject to email verification. Uploading products, posting reviews, or editing shop profiles is restricted to verified users.

4. Content Restrictions & Intellectual Property

Vendors maintain ownership of their uploaded product images and descriptions but grant Chickpet a non-exclusive license to host, display, and share these assets.

You agree not to upload any content that infringes on third-party copyrights, containing offensive or fraudulent material, or misrepresenting traditional materials (e.g., claiming non-GI certified items as GI Tagged).
